August 2023 - Catered. Tracey and Jerome hosted us for a special family event. They were quick to attend to all our practical needs, often thinking of things before we realised we needed them. Nothing was too small for them to attend to. The place was spotless and the setting idyllic. So lovely to just take a walk along the river which is right on the doorstep. I'd go back in a heartbeat.... already planning the next getaway. Thank you Tracey and Jerome for such a memorable stay

Nesthaven Retreat - entire complex - both day visitors and accommodation
Spring 2025 - Self catering.
We stayed at this beautiful property during the Scottish portion of our UK trip, and it was perfect! Peaceful, quiet, surrounded by nature and areas to roam. Also a great spot for day trips in any direction. The property was beautifully maintained, and the house had everything we needed and more. Jerome and Tracey were so kind, meeting us at check in and wishing us well as we left. Excellent communication and just lovely overall. I hope to get back there again someday!

Summer 2024 - Self Catering.
We loved our stay - it is exactly how it is shown in the photos and as told. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook dinner. We only stayed two nights but were very sad to leave. They even had tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and breakfast ready for our first morning. This is the first Airbnb I encountered with such pleasantries within the price. Jerome & Tracey are flexible, very polite and they respond quickly. I could go on an on about this place, but you best go and see it for yourself! 10000% recommend.

Autumn 2024 - Self Catering.
I had a really wonderful stay at Ptarmigan's Nest! Jerome & Tracey have been excellent hosts, welcoming, friendly and attentive. The place was immaculately clean and all the little touches made it feel very cozy. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen had everything I needed (I especially love the air fryer and will definitely be getting one for myself!) The local area is gorgeous, with plenty of beautiful walks and scenery nearby. I highly recommend this post for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic stay. Thanks for being great hosts!

Early Summer 2024 - Self catering.
As a family of four, we had a wonderful short break, everything was perfecty for us. Beautifully presented and well furnished/equipped property. Also, fantastic gardens and surrounding grounds. We were very comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. I hope we get to return! Many thanks to the hospitable hosts.

May 2025 - Catered/self catered.
We had a church outing last weekend to Cowden Japanese Gardens followed by luncheon at Nesthaven Retreat centre. The weather was wonderful and both Cowden and Nesthaven gardens were gorgeous. At Nesthaven, we enjoyed a sit down with soup, sandwiches and bring and share desserts. Thanks to all who contributed to a delightful day out!

May 2025 - Self catered.
I spent just over a week in the tranquil glorious Nesthaven retreat centre. I chose to have an unguided personal retreat.  For me it was time to come away from the busyness of life. Time to spend time in the peaceful and beautiful garden enjoying the warm sunshine, cacophony of bird song, surrounded by the splendour of creation. Time to reflect, pray, study Scripture, take walks and fellowship at the nearby St Andrews Free church Auchterarder. I also took the opportunity to rest, read and do my crafts which I brought with me. Whether you are looking for a guided or non- guided, group or individual retreat, you will find Jerome and Tracey to be spiritually wise and sensitive hosts, and the facilities perfectly and thoughtfully appointed. May you be blessed as I was.
